At about a distance of 90km from Port Blair, Baratang Island is a tourist hub of around 238 square kilometres and is home to many Mud Volcanoes and Limestone Caves. The Baludera Beach, Roglachang Beach and Parrot Island are some of the other attractions of Baratang Island.
Located near the Baratang Island is the Parrot Island that is the hotspot for the Bird Watching sport that Andaman offers, especially to witness the parrots coming back home.
Well known for holding imposing stalactites and stalagmites having formed interesting shapes from erosion over the years, Limestone Caves are located in Nayadera City in Baratang Islands. Make sure you carry a torch when travelling late, though.
Called Jalki by the natives, Mud Volcanoes are a famous attraction among the tourists.
